Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is hopeful that the trio of striker Karim Benzema and midfielders Luka Modric and Toni Kroos will extend their stay at the La Liga club for at least another season.
The Italian is confident that the players will sign new deals after their current contracts expire at the end of this season.
Ballon d'Or winner Benzema, 35, and 37-year-old Croatia midfielder Modric have played a key role in Real’s five Champions League titles, while Kroos, 33, has clinched four.
The Frenchman Benzema is also Los Blancos’ top scorer with 25 goals in all competitions this season.
"I think [they] will stay," Ancelotti said on Friday. "We have to evaluate the players not by their age but by what they do.
"You can think the three don't have the physical profile or energy of the younger players, but what these three have in terms of game management is unique, you can't buy it on any market in the world.
"This is born with experience — age takes something from you, but it gives you something back as well."
Real are in second place in La Liga with 59 points, 12 behind table-toppers Barcelona. They host Villarreal later on Saturday.
Benzema struck a hat-trick as Real Madrid hammered Barcelona 4-0 at Camp Nou to reach the Copa del Rey final on Wednesday, progressing 4-1 on aggregate.
Vinicius Junior opened the scoring just before the break as Ancelotti´s side mounted a spectacular comeback from their one-goal semi-final first leg deficit, with Benzema adding a second-half treble.
After netting three at the weekend against Real Valladolid in La Liga, Benzema repeated the trick to humiliate Barcelona on a painful night for coach Xavi Hernandez in front of almost 95,000 distraught fans.
"It was a complete game — when you play a complete game, you win 4-0 like that," said Ancelotti.
"This is the most important moment of the season and when we´re at the right temperature (like this), we´re good."
